What could have been a devastating blow only strengthened Sunny’s resolve to rebuild.

In 2004, alongside his wife and brother, Sunny reestablished the family business under the name Kombat Taekwondo USA. With a clear vision and unwavering dedication, the enterprise thrived. Today, Kombat Taekwondo USA operates in over 110 countries, boasts more than 1,000 clubs worldwide, and employs 1,400 certified referees. The organization has trained thousands of students, generates approximately $3 million in annual revenue, and continues to grow. Sunny’s vision extends beyond teaching martial arts techniques; he seeks to unify various Taekwondo factions and create professional pathways for fighters. This initiative aims to elevate martial artists to a status comparable to mainstream sports figures, ensuring they receive the recognition they deserve.

He holds an 8th Dan Black Belt in Kombat Taekwondo, a 5th Dan Kukkiwon certification, and is a Level 3 Krav Maga Instructor.
