Prada Café Opens In Singapore, Redefining Luxury Dining
If you’ve missed out on dining at Prada’s Pasticceria Marchesi in Milan or Prada Caffè in London, there’s no need for FOMO anymore. The renowned Italian fashion house has just unveiled its newly refreshed boutique at #01-01 and #02-15 Ion Orchard, now featuring its latest addition: an in-store Prada Caffè.
Located on the second floor of the duplex store, which spans over 12,900 square feet and showcases everything from ready-to-wear collections to homeware and fine jewelry, the café draws inspiration from Prada’s iconic flagship at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, where the brand’s first boutique opened in 1913. Expect signature mint green walls and black-and-white chequered marble floors that embody Prada’s timeless aesthetic.
Offering a stunning view of Orchard Road through its curved glass façade adorned with the Prada triangle pattern, the café provides an elegant dining experience. Plush green velvet sofas, black marble tables, and stylish dining chairs set the tone for a sophisticated atmosphere. For those on the go, outdoor dining service is also available.
While the menu has yet to be fully confirmed, it’s expected to feature brunch and tea-time favorites. During our preview, we savored delectable dishes like Lobster Toast and Smoked Salmon & Avocado Crostone, alongside indulgent sweet treats such as Berries Tartelet and Apricot Sacher Cake. Dessert lovers will be spoiled for choice with tartlets, pralines, panettone, and pastel-hued monoportions, reflecting the refined shades of Prada’s iconic bags.
Currently, the café is not taking dining reservations as it caters to VIP appointments, but takeaway treats like monoportions, tartlets, pralines, and panettone are available for customers to enjoy.
